Day 17- 6th July
Marla - Port Augusta
Today we woke up bright and early to leave for a 8 hour drive to Port Augusta. We stopped in Coober Pedy along the way to get something to eat and drink. I got to sit in the front for a little while until I got kicked out of the front by Demi. I had to sit in the boot. Even though it was a long drive it was a good one. Getting to see all the bare land and all the dry and dead grass everywhere was just good because we are never going to see much of it back home. We arrived safely in Port Augusta and we are all very tired and are very.............zzzzzz.

Day 14- 3rd July
Still in Alice Springs
Today we had a very special appointment for 10:00am. We had booked to get our nails done. When we arrived at the store we all sat in a row and got a pull manicure with our nails painted. I got a nice peachy pink colour with white tips. After they put the top coat on my nails felt so smooth. Today was just s bit of a girly day and I definetly enjoyed it.

Day 13- 2nd July
Still in Alice Springs
Today my sisters and their friends created a stall in the middle of the Caravan park. They made $20 out of the whole stall. I met a little from France. She didn't really understand Australian language. When she left her mother gave me a gift for helping her colour-in. It was a pink Eiffel Tower key ring. I was very thankful. Then my mum, our friends and I had a bit of a girls day out in the morning bit. We went shopping and booked in to get our nails done for tomorrow. We went back to the caravan park to have lunch. Then my family and I went to have a tour on SOTA (school of the air.) Did you know that John Flynn had a big part in the starting of the SOTA as well. It was so amazing to see how much work is put in to children's education just over the computer.

Day 12- 1st July
Still in Alice Springs
Today we woke up super super early to go visit the gorges. We visited 4 of them at the last one that we visited it was 150km away from Alice Springs. It was so spectacular the views and the little water creeks at each one. It was quite a bit of a challenge walking up them all but I definetly wouldn't regret it. The gorges took all day and it was worth it. We had a picnic at one of them and it was so amazing and just relaxing. We a te our lunch in front of a water hole. When we got back to the Carvan park we jumped on the jumping pillow once again like we did every day. Because it was the 1st of July in NT. It was legal to purchase and put off fire works in between the time period of 6pm - 11pm. It was very cool as well as very annoying.

Day 11- 30th June
Still in Alice Springs
Today we woke up early to visit the desert park. I was amazed with all the animals I saw. I saw the thorny devil, greater billy and even the barking spider. We were there for a couple of hours just wondering on the paths. After that we then visited the RFDS. (Royal flying doctor service) When we arrived at the RFDS it was an amazing shop. We then went in to a little theatre to watch a video all about how the RFDS started. Did you know that John Flynn the man on the $20 note basically started the RFDS. We then just had a look around the town of Alice Springs.
