Day 17- 6th July
Marla - Port Augusta
Today we woke up bright and early to leave for a 8 hour drive to Port Augusta. We stopped in Coober Pedy along the way to get something to eat and drink. I got to sit in the front for a little while until I got kicked out of the front by Demi. I had to sit in the boot. Even though it was a long drive it was a good one. Getting to see all the bare land and all the dry and dead grass everywhere was just good because we are never going to see much of it back home. We arrived safely in Port Augusta and we are all very tired and are very.............zzzzzz.

Still in Alice Springs
Today we had a very special appointment for 10:00am. We had booked to get our nails done. When we arrived at the store we all sat in a row and got a pull manicure with our nails painted. I got a nice peachy pink colour with white tips. After they put the top coat on my nails felt so smooth. Today was just s bit of a girly day and I definetly enjoyed it.

Day 13- 2nd July
Still in Alice Springs
Today my sisters and their friends created a stall in the middle of the Caravan park. They made $20 out of the whole stall. I met a little from France. She didn't really understand Australian language. When she left her mother gave me a gift for helping her colour-in. It was a pink Eiffel Tower key ring. I was very thankful. Then my mum, our friends and I had a bit of a girls day out in the morning bit. We went shopping and booked in to get our nails done for tomorrow. We went back to the caravan park to have lunch. Then my family and I went to have a tour on SOTA (school of the air.) Did you know that John Flynn had a big part in the starting of the SOTA as well. It was so amazing to see how much work is put in to children's education just over the computer.

Day 12- 1st July
Still in Alice Springs
Today we woke up super super early to go visit the gorges. We visited 4 of them at the last one that we visited it was 150km away from Alice Springs. It was so spectacular the views and the little water creeks at each one. It was quite a bit of a challenge walking up them all but I definetly wouldn't regret it. The gorges took all day and it was worth it. We had a picnic at one of them and it was so amazing and just relaxing. We a te our lunch in front of a water hole. When we got back to the Carvan park we jumped on the jumping pillow once again like we did every day. Because it was the 1st of July in NT. It was legal to purchase and put off fire works in between the time period of 6pm - 11pm. It was very cool as well as very annoying.

Day 11- 30th June
Still in Alice Springs
Today we woke up early to visit the desert park. I was amazed with all the animals I saw. I saw the thorny devil, greater billy and even the barking spider. We were there for a couple of hours just wondering on the paths. After that we then visited the RFDS. (Royal flying doctor service) When we arrived at the RFDS it was an amazing shop. We then went in to a little theatre to watch a video all about how the RFDS started. Did you know that John Flynn the man on the $20 note basically started the RFDS. We then just had a look around the town of Alice Springs.

Day 10- 29th June
Still in Alice Springs
Today we started the day off by jumping on the huge jumping pillow. I loved being on the jumping pillow because I could practice my flips and tumbling. I met a lot of lovely friends. I made friends with boys, girls and even babies/toddlers. At the caravan park you could hire go carts. So we did. My cousin Quentin and I shared a 2 seated go cart. It was $10 for 1 hour. I had fun just sitting back and relaxing while Quentin did all the work. In the end he made me pedal for 30 minutes. It was so hard. Especially pulling all his weight. (haha) it was like a 26•C day, so we all went and had a swim in the 25-30 degree pool. It was such a chilled out day and I had so much fun just playing around.

Day 8- 27th June
Uluru- Kings Canyon
Today we woke up bright and early to pack up our caravan. After we did that we travelled to Ayers Rock to take family photos in front of the rock. It took us 4 hours to get to Kings Canyon. When we got there we went to check in to the caravan park. We then realised that no one had actually booked the caravan park. Luckily there was room left but they were unpowered sites. We went out for tea at the Kings Canyon pub. There was a live singer there who was Rod Dowsett. When we came back from the pub we saw lots of dingos everywhere. One was at the toilets and the other one was at our van.

Day 7- 26th June 2015
Still in Uluru
Wow, what a day we had today. We started off by waking up early to get to the rock early enough to climb it. Unfortunately it was closed due to strong winds. Then we decided to walk around the whole entire rock. It was 12km all around basically. It took us 4hours. My friend Mackenzie and I, walked around it by ourselves. When we got home Mackenzie and I, painted our nails and straightened our hair. Then Meg, Mackenzie and I made a music video to Pretty girls by Brittany spears and Iggy azalea. We so hope that our lucky last day here tomorrow can give us good luck to climb the rock.

Day 6- 25th June 2015
Still in Uluru
Today we woke up bright and early to watch the sunrise on the lookout. After everyone got ready, we drove to Ayers Rock. WOW. It was so BIG. Unfortunately it was closed, due to strong winds. Instead we walked 1/4 around it. Later in the day, we visited the olgas. We started off by going up and down a track. That one was pretty easy. Then we went to the 2nd track. It was so challenging. It was 1km to the 1st lookout. When we got to the 1st lookout it was so amazing. Only a few of us went to the 2nd lookout which was 3km more. Quentin and I decided to jog most of the way, until we came across a massive, steap hill. We then watched the sunset on the rocks and headed back to the caravan park. What a day we had, it was so great. Hopefully we can climb the rock tomorrow.

Day 5- 24th June 2015
Coober pedy - Uluru
Yesterday we woke up so early to head to Uluru. It took 11 hours to get there. We finally arrived after a adventure of long travels. We settled in to the caravan park then we had a look on the lookout of Ayers Rock. My cousins and I played many games of volley ball. It's quite fun playing ball games in the bright red dirt. Anyway, even though it took a long time it was worth it.

Day 4- 23rd June 2015
Still in Coober Pedy
Yesterday we had quite an adventure exploring the town of Coober Pedy. After we drive around we went to this Hong Kong mans place. He was quite a cracker. We visited Faye's underground house. Which was so fascinating to hear the stories about how underground houses were built. We went noodling for opal and we went to lots of opal places. I didn't know how such a small bare town can have so much history.

Day 2- 21st June 2015
Mildura - Port Augusta
Yesterday's road trip was pretty funny once we got on the road. When we packed up our van and headed off we had quite a few giggles along the way. Meg and Demi were telling funny jokes. When we stopped in Berri for lunch my cousin Quentin was kicking the footy when he acididently kicked it in the water. Before I knew it Quentin had stripped off to his undies and jumped in the water to grab the footy. Considering it was like at 8 degree day. We arrived at port Augusta and rode our scooters for ages.

Port Augusta - Coober Pedy
Yesterday we woke up bright and early for a long 7 hour drive to Coober Pedy. As we packed up our van I rode my scooter for a while. It was a bit of a boring drive but it was good to see some things bare, with hardly any trees. We arrived at Coober pedy around 5:00pm. When we got there we played on this amazing park, with awesome equipment.
