Day 11- 30th June
Still in Alice Springs

Today we woke up early to visit the desert park. I was amazed with all the animals I saw. I saw the thorny devil, greater billy and even the barking spider. We were there for a couple of hours just wondering on the paths. After that we then visited the RFDS. (Royal flying doctor service) When we arrived at the RFDS it was an amazing shop. We then went in to a little theatre to watch a video all about how the RFDS started. Did you know that John Flynn the man on the $20 note basically started the RFDS. We then just had a look around the town of Alice Springs.
